Growing & Maintenance Tips

Grow in full sun in well-drained soil. Tolerates very dry soil. Plant in the border, native plant garden, naturalized area, prairie or wildflower meadow. Combine with Glade, Purple and Yellow Coneflower for nice effect.

Interesting Notes

Songbirds eat the seed if old flower heads are not removed. Genus name, 'Echinacea' comes from the Greek word "echinos" meaning hedgehog in reference to the spiny center cone.
